Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pas Squini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squini misses with a straight right.
Squini misses with a hook. Gracie ducked under it nicely.
Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Squini pinned against the cage. Squini gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Squini as he jumps to the side.

Squini misses with a double jab.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Squini which made him look bad.
Pas Squini has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Captain Gracie.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gracie shoots in but Squini avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gracie slips under a jab from Squini.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pas Squini dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Gracie feints and as Squini raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Squini can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gracie controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Squini wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie forces his way into half guard.
Gracie prevents Squini from standing back up.
Gracie takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Gracie's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Despite being in the dominant position, Captain Gracie just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gracie shoots in but Squini avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Squini swinging wilding here.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Squini misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Squini looks to land a right hand but Gracie moved out of range.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Gracie dodges the punch combination from Squini.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Captain Gracie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Squini's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Squini throws a series of strikes that have Gracie backpedaling.
Squini throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.

Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Squini as he avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gracie controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Squini is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Squini is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Squini is trying to buck Gracie off.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Squini on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Squini tries to get out of the position.

Squini throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Pas Squini showed his dominance in that final round.
