Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bernard McCurtney (ranked 2721 p4p, 5405 weight class) and Roderick Gardner (ranked 188 p4p, 298 weight class). McCurtney comes to the cage accompanied by Bill Bellamy. The crowd seem to be enjoying Gardner's choice of entrance music: Why Can't We Be Friends?. Roderick Gardner struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 137.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCurtney drops Gardner with a beautiful combination! Gardner stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McCurtney is looking for the KO!
Gardner is rocked!
BOOM! McCurtney lands a beautiful left hook that drops Gardner. Gardner tries to recover but McCurtney is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Gardner lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bernard McCurtney!
A very excited looking Bernard McCurtney made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
The defeated Roderick Gardner had this to say: 'it's all LIES!!!!! LIES!!!!!! like some guy i know who's always claiming he's creating original art, but it's all LIES!!!!'.
