Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Nastula (ranked 23259 p4p, 3225 weight class) and Deuce McWrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 296 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 74 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Deuce McWrestler! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nastula takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Nice jab there from McWrestler. Nastula shoots in for a takedown but McWrestler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nastula takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nastula tries to clinch but fails miserably and McWrestler counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. McWrestler working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nastula's head. Nastula knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McWrestler on the ground. McWrestler working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Nastula's head. McWrestler stands up over Nastula, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. McWrestler scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McWrestler scoring with some ground and pound. McWrestler stopping the sweep attempt from Nastula. McWrestler sitting in guard here, content to control. McWrestler with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. McWrestler lands a couple of elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. McWrestler lands a couple of decent looking shots. McWrestler postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. McWrestler passes Nastula's left leg - he's now in half guard. McWrestler slips a nice elbow through Nastula's hands, connecting with Nastula's forehead. McWrestler scoring with strikes to the body and head. McWrestler looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nastula with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ground and pound from McWrestler. McWrestler seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Nastula tries to get to full guard but McWrestler has control of the leg. McWrestler is nestled in close to Nastula, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McWrestler perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ground and pound from McWrestler. Nastula wants to get back to full guard. McWrestler controlling the action here. Nastula taking some punishment here, with McWrestler in his half guard. McWrestler has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. McWrestler working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Nastula really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. McWrestler scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Nastula is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and McWrestler can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
