Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Rambo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Will Wynn!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo stuns Wynn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wynn has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Wynn tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Wynn shoots in but no luck this time.
Rambo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wynn's sensitive parts.
Wynn tries for a takedown but Rambo circles away easily
and Rambo counters with a crisp right hand that drops Wynn! Rambo lets Wynn back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Will Wynn has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rambo lands a front kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Rambo has managed to clinch.
Wynn wants to take the fight to the mat but Rambo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
John Rambo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Will Wynn.
Rambo gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Wynn is rocked!
Rambo lands a big right hand that drops Wynn! The killer instinct kicks in and Rambo finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Rambo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Rambo!
John Rambo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
