Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ty Ty Brown (ranked 4155 p4p, 4406 weight class) and Jake Wooden (ranked 427 p4p, 440 weight class). Jake Wooden struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ty Ty Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Wooden! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wooden paws at him with a jab and circles away. Brown shoots in for a takedown but Wooden shows good takedown defense. A head kick by Brown misses and Wooden counters by moving into the clinch. Wooden is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Brown to keep the fight standing. Wooden just leaning against Brown, taking a breather. Wooden pulls Brown into guard.
Brown slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Brown trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wooden's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brown is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wooden is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Wooden is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Brown is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Brown trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Wooden swinging wildly here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Brown misses with a takedown attempt and Wooden counters with a thumping low kick. Wooden throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Brown is looking for a counter combo. Brown throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wooden tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Brown is in Wooden's guard. Wooden wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Brown manages to pass to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brown tries to stand but can't do so whilst Wooden controls his leg. Brown controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Wooden should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Brown wants to control but Wooden is keeping him busy. Brown is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Brown takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Wooden is looking to escape. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ty Ty Brown will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Wooden closes the distance and pushes Brown back into the cage. Wooden breaks from the clinch.
Brown stuffs the takedown attempt from Wooden. Wooden gets slowly back to his feet. Crunch! Wooden slams his shin into Brown's torso. No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt. Brown shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wooden pinned against the cage. Wooden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ty Ty Brown. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wooden shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wooden throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brown's waist but Brown gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wooden off to one side. Brown is looking to counter the offense by Wooden and move into the clinch. Brown fails with a takedown attempt. Wooden tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wooden somewhat. Brown drops down looking for a counter takedown but Wooden sprawls and moves away. Brown gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wooden holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooden lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Wooden jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brown walks away with a smile on his face. Wooden gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Wooden clinches with his opponent.
Brown swings wildly with an uppercut but Wooden uses good head movement to avoid it. Wooden goes for a takedown attempt but Brown pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Wooden is breathing heavily. Wooden tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brown sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wooden somewhat. Wooden shoots for a takedown but Brown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Brown fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wooden sprawls well initially but Brown persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wooden has one foot on Brown's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Despite the aggression on Wooden's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Wooden misses with a takedown attempt - Brown sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Brown fails to land the takedown. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown. Brown wants to clinch up but Wooden keeps it at a distance. Brown keeps the fight on the outside. Wooden shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wooden as he jumps to the side. Wooden tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wooden doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Wooden shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Brown tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wooden manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brown tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wooden swats him away and circles back towards the center. Brown fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Brown shoots in and gets a takedown into Wooden's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wooden keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Wooden showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round! Brown takes a swing at Wooden's ribcage but misses. Wooden checks a leg kick. Wooden clinches up with Brown and pushes him back against the cage. Wooden lands a good knee to the midsection. Brown won't want to take too many of those. Brown is looking for a takedown. Wooden jumps guard but Brown turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Brown is trying to pull guard but Wooden has him pressed against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Wooden's face as he tries to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wooden tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Wooden's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brown closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wooden is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Ty Ty Brown overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wooden prevents Brown from moving into mount. Brown tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wooden wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wooden keeps working. Wooden seems a little lost for a moment, as Brown dominates the positioning. Wooden dodges the ground and pound from Brown. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Brown thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Wooden really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Wooden is trying to get back to his feet. Brown staying calm. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Brown tries to stand but Wooden controls the position and pulls Brown into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Brown is looking to stand up but Wooden won't let him. Wooden keeping moving, preventing Brown from controlling successfully. Wooden has a closed guard, preventing Brown from standing up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brown is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wooden's half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown stalling.
And that's the end of the fight! Ty Ty Brown showed his dominance in that final round. I think Brown has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
