Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lenny Limdix (ranked 4189 p4p, 4164 weight class) and Peter Short (ranked 381 p4p, 379 weight class). Peter Short struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Short drives through with a takedown into Limdix's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Short seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Limdix wants to sweep but no luck.
Limdix being controlled here, momentarily.
Limdix working for submissions but it's allowed Short to get to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Limdix is looking for a sweep. Short is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Limdix is trying to escape back to his feet but Short uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Short tries to move into full mount but can't pass Limdix's legs.
Short controls the position.
Short is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Limdix is trying to escape and Short transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Limdix is forced to tap! Nice work there by Short! Very nice indeed!
