The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Watson to the mat! Watson manages to get full guard.
Watson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Banks engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Banks trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Banks is still trying to improve position.
Banks works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Banks passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Watson!
Banks is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Watson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Banks with shots to the head and body - Watson looks very uncomfortable down there.
Banks tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Banks pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Banks postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Watson looks a forlorn figure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Watson takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Banks's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
