Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23930 p4p, 23889 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walay Buut is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 36 - 53 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 50 - 41 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Buktot but Buktot pushes him off and we're back to square one. Buut closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot is positioning himself well to prevent Buut advancing to mount. Buut sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot wants to control but Buut is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buut stalling. Buut not landing any meaningful shots this time. Buut with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Buktot is trying to maintain the position but Buut is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Buktot looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. As Buktot backs off Buut throws a huge counter combo but Buktot manages to avoid it all. Buut misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. As Buut looks to move away, Buktot throws a big counter combo but Buut just gets out of the way.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Buktot fails with a takedown attempt. Buut steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Buut gets off balance looking for a body kick and Buktot finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Buut shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Buktot looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. Buktot shoots in looking for a takedown but Buut manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buktot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Buut steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Buktot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Buut circles away. Buut doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nice sprawl there from Buktot as Buut shoots in. Buktot jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Buktot tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Buut defends well and Buktot ends up having to push Buut into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Buktot works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Buut controlling Buktot's posture. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Buut looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut managing to control the position. Buktot preventing the sweep. Buut pulls Buktot in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Buut shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Buktot napping and manages to drive through into side control! Buktot is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Buut controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Who's going to make the next move? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buktot has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Buktot tries to buck Buut off but Buut is having none of it. Buut taking a breather here. Buktot is not content to let Buut control the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dawindi Buktot will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Buut closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Buut trying to control the position but Buktot is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut taking a breather here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot working away. Buut seems a little lost for a moment, as Buktot dominates the positioning. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Buut is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Buktot fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buut avoids it really well and circles away. Buut steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot shoots in but Buut avoids the takedown attempt easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Walay Buut. I think Buut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
