Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23871 p4p, 23823 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 34 - 51 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 43 - 44 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Mibangon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sapi is fending him off so far but Mibangon persists. Nope, Sapi circles away and we're back to standing. Sapi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sapi dives in and grabs Mibangon's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mibangon pushes down on Sapi's head and hops out. Mibangon throws a quick counter kick to the body but Sapi avoids it. Sapi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Mibangon thinks about countering with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mibangon sprawls well initially but Sapi persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sapi looks to land a strike but Mibangon avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Mibangon looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Mibangon trying to control the pace. Sapi is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sapi is controlling Mibangon's trapped leg to prevent Mibangon from advancing to side control. Mibangon performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sapi but Sapi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sapi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mibangon sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mibangon throws a big counter combination but Sapi scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Sapi fails with a takedown attempt. Mibangon is looking to counter with a body kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Minatay Mibangon will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mibangon is trying to maintain the position but Sapi is very close to passing his half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Mibangon throws a chopping leg kick but Sapi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon tries to land a body kick and Sapi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mibangon won't be happy with that. Sapi controls the position from side control. Sapi working away. The referee asks Sapi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Sapi prefers to stall for the moment though. Mibangon wants to control but Sapi postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sapi controls the position from side control. Sapi working away. Sapi in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon dives in and grabs Sapi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sapi pushes down on Mibangon's head and hops out. Sapi with the counter takedown but Mibangon avoids it easily. Mibangon gets a double leg takedown into Sapi's guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Wala Sapi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Sapi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mibangon counters with a solid body kick. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Mibangon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sapi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sapi goes for a double leg but Mibangon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Mibangon continues to drive forward. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon shoots in for a double leg but Sapi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Mibangon fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Minatay Mibangon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Sapi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sapi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mibangon controls Sapi momentarily but Sapi frees himself. Mibangon pulls Sapi in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi is stalling in the full guard. Wala Sapi has got the better of the ground game so far. Sapi is continuing to stall.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Sapi shoots for a double leg takedown but Mibangon sprawls well. He's pushed Sapi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Mibangon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sapi's half guard. Sapi is trying to get back to full guard. Mibangon lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi has his hands clasped together around Mibangon's back. He's all about the action.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Minatay Mibangon. I think Mibangon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
