The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blachowicz shoots in for a takedown but Buggs shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Buggs trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Buggs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blachowicz shoots in for a takedown but Buggs shows good takedown defense.

Buggs is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Buggs landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Buggs avoids the attempt from Blachowicz to control.

Buggs postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Blachowicz looks a forlorn figure.

Buggs shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Blachowicz's guard.
Buggs passes Blachowicz's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Buggs looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
