Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Kahnwald (ranked 2097 p4p, 4007 weight class) and Eduardo Parera (ranked 245 p4p, 416 weight class). Parera has chosen The Stars - David Bowie as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parera throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Parera throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kahnwald sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Parera misses with a hook
letting Kahnwald counter with a right hand.
Parera lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Parera jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kahnwald is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Parera.
Parera throws a looping overhand right but Kahnwald ducks down to avoid it.
Kahnwald attempts a counter takedown but Parera avoids it well and moves away.
A telegraphed right hand from Parera misses the target.
An attempted straight right counter from Kahnwald misses the target.
Parera fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kahnwald manages to avoid it.
Parera just misses with a punch to the body.
Kahnwald uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Parera.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Parera really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kahnwald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kahnwald is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Parera to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Parera shrugs it off.

Kahnwald postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Parera looks a forlorn figure.
Parera is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

and Kahnwald decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Parera's guard.
