Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Skye Breeze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breeze throws a shot from downtown. Wilson moves away and avoids it.
Wilson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Breeze is fending him off so far but Wilson persists. Nope, Breeze circles away and we're back to standing.
Wilson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Breeze to score with a decent uppercut.
Breeze throws a big shot that misses.
Breeze pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The fighters circle momentarily. Breeze darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Breeze sends Wilson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Breeze is motioning to the referee to let Wilson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Wilson is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wilson walks into a straight right hand from Breeze.
Wilson is still on wobbly legs! Can Breeze finish him?
Wilson walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Wilson limp body while Breeze jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Skye Breeze!
