Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Martin Niblett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marco Tresette! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Niblett fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tresette throws a series of punches but Niblett avoids them all with ease. Niblett lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Marco Tresette has been cut. Tresette doesn't manage to clinch there - Niblett circles away.
Niblett looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tresette! Tresette is trying to buck Niblett off. Niblett lands a nice forearm strike. Tresette is letting Niblett control him for a moment. Niblett wants to control but Tresette is keeping him busy. Niblett lands a decent elbow from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Niblett working away. Tresette is looking for a sweep. Tresette is working to avoid the ground and pound but Niblett connects with a decent elbow. Tresette is not content to let Niblett control the position. Tresette tries to improve position but can't. Niblett working away. Niblett wants to stand but Tresette is controlling his arm. Niblett grinds an elbow into Tresette's temple. Tresette takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tresette takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Tresette is rocked! Niblett tries to stand but Tresette is controlling his head. Niblett lands a few punches from side control. Tresette is still in real trouble! Can Niblett finish him? Tresette trying to remain calm as Niblett controls from the top position. Tresette seems to have recovered his senses. Tresette tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tresette looks winded! Niblett in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Tresette looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Niblett turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Niblett! Martin Niblett decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
