It looks like Ken Shamrock has been cut.
Shamrock's coach down at Catch Wrestling L.A. was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Shamrock's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Shamrock scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maluga is trying to improve his position.
Maluga wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Shamrock has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Maluga's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Maluga is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Shamrock!
