Joe bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Maleszewski swings for the body but Joe moves out of range.
Maleszewski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Joe was well out of range. Poor timing from Maleszewski.
Maleszewski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Joe did well to prevent Maleszewski getting side control.
Maleszewski seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Maleszewski is trying for a kimura here. Joe looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Maleszewski wins by kimura!
