Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jojo Dresden (ranked 1933 p4p, 2743 weight class) and Semi Veainu (ranked 105 p4p, 137 weight class). Dresden kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Break Stuff/ Limp Bizkit. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jojo Dresden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Semi Veainu!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dresden throws a lazy uppercut
and Veainu counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dresden thinking.
Dresden misses with a looping left.
Veainu takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Veainu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Veainu takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Dresden moves into range and connects with a jab.
Dresden shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
It looks like Jojo Dresden has been cut.
Dresden misses with an uppercut
and Veainu counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
