Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Calloway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stephen Dyer!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calloway misses with a left hand
letting Dyer counter with a right hand.
Calloway tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dyer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Calloway's corner calls for a 1-2. Calloway obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Stephen Dyer has been cut.
Dyer checks a leg kick.
Dyer blocks a jab.
Dyer let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Dyer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dyer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Calloway.
Dyer fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Calloway on the side of the head.
Calloway fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Calloway throws a right hand that misses
and Dyer counters with a one-two to the body.
Calloway drops his hands momentarily and Dyer takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Dyer closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Jim Calloway has been cut.

The fight stays on the outside here - Calloway looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jim Calloway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Calloway tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dyer was well out of range. Poor timing from Calloway.
Despite the aggression on Dyer's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Calloway lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Calloway scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dyer doesn't seem bothered though.

and Dyer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Dyer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Calloway throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Calloway takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Calloway wants to slow Dyer down by chopping away at his legs.

Calloway is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

Calloway throws a chopping leg kick but Dyer manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Calloway fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dyer moves forwards but Calloway connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Dyer lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Calloway tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dyer was well out of range. Poor timing from Calloway.

Calloway throws a jab when Dyer was well out of range.
Dyer throws out a counter right but Calloway avoids it with no problem.
Calloway throws a right hand that misses
and Dyer counters with a one-two to the body.
Calloway throws a leg kick but Dyer sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Dyer appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Dyer throws out a powerful jab.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Stephen Dyer dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Calloway throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dyer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Calloway uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dyer.
Dyer blocks a jab.
Dyer appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Nice defenses there by Dyer.
A nice side step and Dyer releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Dyer connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Calloway is rocked!

Dyer connects with a body shot that sends Calloway's belly button to the back.
