The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niblett fails in his attempt to clinch.
Patterson throws a jab but it's blocked by Niblett.
Patterson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Patterson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Niblett manages to avoid it.
Niblett has a takedown stuffed.
Patterson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A telegraphed right hand from Patterson misses the target.
Niblett tries to counter with a takedown but Patterson is quick to defend against it.
Patterson cracks Niblett with a right hand to the side of the head.
Niblett throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Patterson pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Patterson misses with an uppercut. Niblett saw that one coming.
Niblett swings for the body but Patterson moves out of range.
Niblett lands a two punch combo.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Niblett misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Patterson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Niblett lands a nice shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Niblett throws a shot to the body.
Niblett tries a head kick but it misses.
Patterson misses with a wild body shot.
Niblett moves in looking to clinch but Patterson pushes him off.
No joy there for Niblett, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Martin Niblett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patterson moves in close and cracks Niblett with a massive right hand! Niblett, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Patterson!
