Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Potter (ranked 1080 p4p, 2552 weight class) and Romeo Alfa (ranked 139 p4p, 288 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Scott Potter has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Scott Potter seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Scott Potter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Romeo Alfa!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alfa connects with the punch.
Potter staying out of range there.
Potter lands with a good body shot.
Alfa throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Potter staying out of range there.
Potter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Alfa lands with a kick to the temple. Potter shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Alfa throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Potter blocks a head kick by Alfa.
Potter's corner calls for a 1-2. Potter obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Romeo Alfa has been cut.
Alfa throws a right and a left that Potter avoids nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters circling - Potter throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Alfa throws a fast counter high kick but Potter manages to duck under it in time.
Alfa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Potter scores with a hook to the body. Alfa takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Alfa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Potter connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Alfa momentarily.
Potter lands a glancing blow to the side of Alfa's head.
Potter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Potter, as that shot connected.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Potter fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Alfa throws a head kick that misses
and Potter counters with a straight right hand.
Alfa takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Potter dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Alfa looks winded!
Alfa looks up at the clock. Bad move! Potter lands a right hand from hell, dropping Alfa. Potter pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Potter!
In his post fight interview, Scott Potter started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
