Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Francis Brooks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adrian Ortiz!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz misses with a wild body shot.
Ortiz missing with a left hand there. Brooks was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brooks misses with a straight right.
Ortiz misses with a straight right.
Brooks swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Brooks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ortiz moves away.
Ortiz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brooks manages to avoid it.
Ortiz connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ortiz throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brooks sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Brooks slaps away a takedown attempt from Ortiz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A little feinted left hand from Brooks on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ortiz's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ortiz duly obliges.
Nice shot lands for Ortiz.
BOOM! Ortiz lands a beautiful left hook that drops Brooks. Brooks tries to recover but Ortiz is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Brooks lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
