Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Harrison (ranked 2503 p4p, 2997 weight class) and Kaito Tanaka (ranked 294 p4p, 351 weight class). Harrison comes to the cage accompanied by All of the Above. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kaito Tanaka! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanaka looks to throw the jab but Harrison is out of range. Harrison misses with a double jab
and Tanaka counters with a nice uppercut. Harrison drives through and clinches with Tanaka against the cage.
Harrison misses with some punches.
Harrison tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tanaka's elbow. Tanaka successfully pulls guard.
Tanaka throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Harrison with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harrison seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tanaka wants to get back to his feet but Harrison is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harrison showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Harrison has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Harrison continues to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Harrison tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Harrison misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Harrison tests Tanaka's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Kaito Tanaka has been cut. Harrison cracks a nice hook into Tanaka's ribs. Harrison's corner calls for a 1-2. Harrison obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Harrison tries to clinch but Tanaka moves out of range. Harrison looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Harrison misses with a combination
and Tanaka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Michael Harrison has been cut. Tanaka keeps the fight on the outside. Sloppy strikes from Harrison. Those never looked like landing. Tanaka lands a nice looking body shot.
Tanaka throws a good cross that connects.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tanaka throws a jab when Harrison was well out of range. The fighters circling - Harrison throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A punch lands to the side of Tanaka 's head but he takes it in his stride. Harrison moves to clinch but Tanaka breaks away and Tanaka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tanaka feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Harrison sprawling to the canvas! Harrison rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tanaka finish him?!
Nice body punch from Tanaka. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tanaka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Harrison misses with a hook. Tanaka ducked under it nicely. Harrison rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tanaka moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tanaka fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Harrison is breathing heavily. Tanaka cracks Harrison with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Harrison falls to his knees and Tanaka doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kaito Tanaka! Kaito Tanaka made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Any man who must say 'I am the king' is no true king'.
