Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mursk Ispa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Krzysztof Zakrzewski!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Ispa. No joy for Zakrzewski on that attempt.
Zakrzewski has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Ispa.
Mursk Ispa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zakrzewski takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Ispa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Zakrzewski.

Zakrzewski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ispa as he avoids it easily.

Zakrzewski walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Ispa shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Zakrzewski eats them both and turns towards Ispa to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Zakrzewski takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Ispa lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ispa connects with the punch.

Zakrzewski takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ispa forces Zakrzewski back against the cage and clinches.
Zakrzewski is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Mursk Ispa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Krzysztof Zakrzewski.
Ispa stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Zakrzewski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ispa walks away with a smile on his face. Zakrzewski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Horrible takedown attempt by Zakrzewski or perhaps it was just good defense by Ispa, which made it look bad.
Donk. Ispa catches Zakrzewski right on the button with a cross.
Zakrzewski takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut.
Ispa's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zakrzewski under the eye.
Ispa throws a nice inside leg kick.
Zakrzewski takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ispa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ispa cracks Zakrzewski with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ispa has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Zakrzewski to stand back up!

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ispa. Zakrzewski shrugs it off though.

Zakrzewski has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Ispa.

Zakrzewski's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

I was talking to Ispa's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Ispa gets through Zakrzewski's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Ispa unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Zakrzewski! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Ispa is unloading with more strikes now! Zakrzewski drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
