Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lito Harrison (ranked 2830 p4p, 2737 weight class) and Mark Jackacy (ranked 268 p4p, 258 weight class). Jackacy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nkolo Akosunga - Lokua Kanza. Lito Harrison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lito Harrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Jackacy! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harrison avoids the head kick by Jackacy.
Jackacy drives through and clinches with Harrison against the cage.
Harrison tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jackacy smiles and moves away.
Harrison misses with a left hand and Jackacy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Harrison misses the jab. Harrison takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jackacy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Harrison definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jackacy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jackacy wants to clinch. Mark Jackacy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harrison is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jackacy is defended easily by Harrison. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Harrison. Jackacy shrugs it off though. Jackacy throws a head kick but Harrison moves out of range.
Lito Harrison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jackacy tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Harrison counters with a stiff right hand. Harrison misses with a head kick.

Harrison lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Jackacy uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Harrison was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. A momentary lapse in concentration from Harrison enables Jackacy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Harrison manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Harrison looking for subs off his back but Jackacy has passed one foot through into half guard.

Harrison is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackacy pulls his head out easily. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jackacy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Jackacy is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Harrison reverses the position - he's now on top in Jackacy's guard. That's six minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jackacy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Harrison postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackacy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Harrison, into his guard. Jackacy is pushing down on Harrison's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harrison is fighting to maintain full guard but Jackacy has managed to sneak the leg through. Jackacy moves into full mount! Harrison won't be happy about that! Jackacy unloading with bombs!

Harrison trying to control the position but Jackacy manages to sink in the hooks. Well, with Jackacy on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Harrison is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Jackacy doesn't have the hooks in and Harrison manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harrison postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jackacy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Harrison won't allow Jackacy to sweep him here.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Jackacy is still trying to improve position. Jackacy keeping full guard, as Harrison tries to pass. Jackacy keeping moving, preventing Harrison from controlling successfully. Jackacy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harrison is one step ahead there. Harrison postures up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Harrison won't allow Jackacy to sweep him here. Harrison wants to pass the guard but Jackacy is keeping the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

and Jackacy counters with a lovely straight right hand! Jackacy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harrison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jackacy somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harrison throws a head kick that misses. Jackacy connects with a single shot there. Harrison looks to land a left hand but Jackacy moved out of range nicely. Jackacy lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Jackacy takes a swing at Harrison's ribcage but misses. Harrison staying out of range there. Jackacy has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Harrison bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jackacy's head. Harrison lands a high kick!

Harrison lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jackacy backwards. Harrison is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jackacy to keep the fight standing. A right hook to the body lands for Jackacy.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jackacy lands with a punch from half guard. Harrison looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Harrison works his way to full guard. Good work. Harrison working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jackacy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice straight punches there by Jackacy. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jackacy. Harrison misses with a shot to the body and Jackacy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Harrison's knee momentarily. Lito Harrison is winning the standup battle so far. Jackacy moves out of range of the body kick. Harrison throws a sloppy head kick and Jackacy moves out of range easily. Jackacy doesn't manage to clinch there - Harrison circles away.

Harrison throws a lazy right hand but Jackacy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Harrison tries to land a front kick but Jackacy steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Jackacy closes the distance and pushes Harrison back into the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackacy pulls guard effortlessly. Jackacy keeping full guard, as Harrison tries to pass. Harrison being controlled here momentarily. Lito Harrison has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Harrison trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Harrison looking to improve position, pressing down on Jackacy's thigh with his hand. Jackacy seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Harrison paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Harrison's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Jackacy picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
