PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 83 p4p, 141 weight class) and Randy Randleman (ranked 13 p4p, 19 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Randleman's choice of entrance music: Bloodhound Gang - Bad Touch. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 34 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Stark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 43 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Randy Randleman!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark closes this distance looking for a takedown but Randleman circles away.
Randleman changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Stark dives in and grabs Randleman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Randleman pushes down on Stark's head and hops out.

That was a close round but I would say that Tony Stark will probably get the nod.

Stark has his foot on Randleman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Randleman works his way back into a safe position though.

Stark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Randleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Randleman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stark has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Randleman has managed to get both his arms back between Stark's legs - danger averted.
