Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hanzov Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kelikeke Alemana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Final Countdown by Europe. Kelikeke Alemana will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Alemana misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wright.
Alemana slips under a jab from Wright.
Alemana takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wright throws a leg kick which misses Alemana's front leg but catches the back leg as Alemana tries to avoid it.
Wright throws a right hand that Alemana ducks under and follows up with a left that Alemana also avoids with ease.
A shot to the body from Wright misses
and Alemana counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wright's guard now.
Wright is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Alemana has gone for a leg lock! Wright slips out almost immediately though and dives into Alemana's guard.
Alemana is trying to keep Wright in close.
Wright advances to half guard.

Still in half guard, Wright seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alemana wants to get back to full guard but Wright has mounted him!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wright takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Hanzov Wright will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Alemana takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

A nice combination there by Wright.
Alemana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wright pinned against the cage. Wright gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Alemana counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wright won't be happy with that.
Alemana is breathing heavily.

Alemana throws a strike aimed at the side of Wright's head but Wright avoids it well.
Wright is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Alemana is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wright!
Alemana is trying to take his opponent's back.
Wright is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Alemana goes for an armbar but Wright turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Wright.

Alemana doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Wright has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Alemana throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Alemana looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wright looking to sit in guard and control but Alemana gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Wright is pulling down on Alemana's head. It's preventing any offense from Alemana, at least for the moment.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hanzov Wright will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Wright tries to bum rush Alemana with a series of wild strikes but Alemana uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hanzov Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wright lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wright.
Alemana takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wright clobbers Alemana with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Wright swings for the body but Alemana moves out of range.
Alemana takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Alemana shoots in for a takedown but Wright shows good takedown defense.
Wright comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Wright swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Alemana is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Wright.
Wright is looking to slow Alemana down with leg kicks.

Alemana throws a strike but Wright rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Alemana is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Wright wants to control from the top but Alemana keeps moving.

Wright is really struggling to control Alemana but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Wright slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hanzov Wright is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Wright wants to control from the top but Alemana keeps moving.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Alemana shoots for a takedown but Wright saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hanzov Wright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kelikeke Alemana.
Alemana on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wright. Wright obviously looking to wear him down.
Wright fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Alemana misses with a series of wild punches.
Wright lands with a thumping leg kick.
No joy there for Wright, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Alemana takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kelikeke Alemana has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

And that's the end of the fight!
Hanzov Wright showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wright, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
