Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Flash Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CM Punk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punk fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rage misses with a series of wild punches.

Rage fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Punk sprawls well initially but Rage persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Punk is staying active underneath Rage, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Rage works his foot free and advances to mount.
Punk swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Punk should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Rage is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Punk can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Punk is trying to escape the mount.
Rage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Punk is working to get back to half guard.
Rage tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Rage landing strikes from the mount and Punk is in trouble!
Punk bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Rage has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rage controls Punk momentarily but Punk frees himself.
Punk postures up in Rage's guard and throws a big left but Rage blocks it.

Punk lying in Rage's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Rage decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Punk taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
