The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Li has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Sherman looks to land a combination but Li avoids it well.
Li looks to throw the jab but Sherman is out of range.
Sherman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Li was well out of range. Poor timing from Sherman.
Sherman throws a right hand that misses
and Li counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Braylen Sherman has been cut.
Li swinging wildly here.
Sherman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Li sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Li clobbers Sherman with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Willie Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li lands a nice looking body shot.
Sherman misses with a shot to the body
letting Li counter with a right hand.
Sherman drops his hands momentarily and Li takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Li scores with a jab. Sherman acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Sherman is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Li dances in with a quick combination. Sherman is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Li snaps Sherman's head back. Sherman stumbles backwards against the cage. Li steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Sherman's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Sherman just didn't come prepared.
