The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliot misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jackson wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Elliot fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jackson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson is wriggling around but Elliot manages to pass to half guard.

Elliot thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jackson's head.

It looks like Elliot might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Elliot thows a huge punch but Jackson dodges it nicely.
Jackson is not content to let Elliot control the position.

Jackson is trying to stand up here but Elliot is controlling him well.
Elliot looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
