Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Warriner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heinrich Dieter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warriner throws out a loose jab but Dieter uses good head movement to avoid it. Dieter showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Warriner.
Warriner lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dieter circles away quickly and effectively. Warriner swinging wilding here.
No joy there for Warriner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters circling - Warriner throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Good exchange - Warriner coming out on top.
It looks like Heinrich Dieter has been cut. Warriner throws a hook to the side of Dieter's head but Dieter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dieter dodges the punch combination from Warriner.

Dieter pushing down on Warriner's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Dieter stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Warriner to get to his feet. Warriner throws a jab but it's blocked by Dieter. Horrible takedown by Dieter or perhaps it was just good defense by Warriner which made him look bad. Warriner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Warriner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Dieter counters with a single leg into guard. Warriner didn't expect that. Warriner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Dieter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Dieter won't allow Warriner to sweep him here. Warriner throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Dieter sitting in guard here, content to control. Warriner wants to sweep here but Dieter controlling him for the moment. Warriner lands an upkick as Dieter stands over him. Dieter works over Warriner with some ground and pound from guard. Warriner throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A big right from Warriner misses. Warriner fails with the takedown and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Dieter shoots in looking for a takedown. Warriner tries to sprawl out of it but Dieter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Warriner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Warriner misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Warriner loads up on a big right hand but Dieter slips the punch. Warriner doesn't succeed with the takedown and Dieter connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Warriner. That's going to take a lot out of him. No joy there for Warriner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Dieter trying to control but Warriner is working from the bottom. Dieter makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Warriner wants to sweep here but Dieter controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Warriner can't keep his opponent in guard - Dieter advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dieter trying to control the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warriner tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Warriner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dieter is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Warriner is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dieter's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dieter's back! Warriner is working the ground and pound. Can Dieter escape? Dieter manages to reverse the position and now he's in Warriner's guard. Nice work there by Dieter.
Warriner has momentary wrist control but Dieter slips an elbow through the middle. Warriner wants to sweep but no luck. Dieter slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Warriner is looking for a sweep. Warriner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dieter on the ground. Dieter advances to mount.

Warriner is looking to improve his position but Dieter isn't that keen on the idea. Dieter has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Warriner swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dieter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dieter in particular looking to stall. Warriner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Warriner is not content to let Dieter control the position. Warriner punching from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Warriner accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dieter working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Warriner.

Warriner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dieter moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Warriner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Heinrich Dieter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Heinrich Dieter's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Warriner throws a combination that misses and Dieter decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Warriner's guard. Warriner wants to sweep but no luck. Dieter drops back looking for a leg! Warriner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Warriner manages to kick Dieter off! Dieter jumps back into Warriner's guard. Heinrich Dieter is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Warriner is looking to improve his position.
