Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Gracie (ranked 4147 p4p, 25306 weight class) and Lars Plazibat (ranked 287 p4p, 380 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Plazibat!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plazibat misses with a head kick.
Gracie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Plazibat swivels and escapes.
Gracie darts in looking for a takedown but Plazibat gets double underhooks and turns Gracie into the cage.
Gracie has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Plazibat uses from the top position.
Plazibat stands up over Gracie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Gracie has his foot on Plazibat's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Plazibat works his way back into a safe position though.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Plazibat lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Gracie looking for a triangle here. Plazibat is fighting it but it looks tight! Gracie pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Plazibat is tapping out - this one is all over!
