Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Duane Jackson (ranked 4940 p4p, 3441 weight class) and Augier De Rabat (ranked 322 p4p, 247 weight class). De Rabat has chosen Marche des Templiers as his entrance music. Augier De Rabat acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Duane Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Augier De Rabat! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson scores with a jab. De Rabat acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Jackson falls off balance throwing a combination
and De Rabat counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jackson walks into a jab. Jackson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by De Rabat. Jackson throws a sloppy head kick and De Rabat moves out of range easily. A cross from De Rabat lands. Jackson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Jackson gets caught flat footed, as De Rabat shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jackson pushes De Rabat off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson throws a head kick that misses and De Rabat connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. De Rabat connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jackson's hands. Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet. Jackson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. De Rabat shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing De Rabat's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jackson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. We've been told by Jackson's head coaches at BANZAI COMBAT ACADEMY MONTREAL that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Jackson looks to throw a body kick and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jackson is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson throws out a leg kick but De Rabat moves out of range and Jackson only half commits. Jackson throws a head kick that misses. Jackson throws a head kick but De Rabat moves out of range.
A lazy body kick from Jackson and De Rabat counters with a nice uppercut.
Jackson is rocked! De Rabat pounces like a tiger and cracks Jackson with a vicious hook! Jackson is down but not out! De Rabat follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Augier De Rabat! Augier De Rabat really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that BANZAI COMBAT NUTRITION logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
