Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Seung Woo Choi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Waller.
Waller avoids the head kick by Choi.
Waller is looking for a counter combo.
Choi throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Waller counter with a right hand.
Choi is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Choi looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Choi has taken the fight to the clinch.

Waller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Waller lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Choi backs up against the cage.

enabling Waller to counter with a crisp jab.

Nice takedown defense from Choi. No joy for Waller on that attempt.

Choi closes the distance and pushes Waller back into the cage.

Waller manages to break the clinch.
Waller throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Waller clinches up with Choi and pushes him back against the cage.
Waller looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Waller wants to break free but Choi has control.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Choi.
A frustrated look appears on Waller's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Waller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Choi clinches with his opponent.
Waller blocks an elbow strike from Choi.
Choi prevents Waller from breaking the clinch.
Waller is trying to break the clinch but Choi is controlling him.

Waller manages to break the clinch.
Choi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Seung Woo Choi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Waller sizes up Choi with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A head kick misses from Choi.
Waller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Choi misses with a leg kick
and Waller counters with a stiff right hand.

Waller has managed to clinch.
Waller lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Choi backwards.
Choi lands a knee to the head.
Waller is trying to force a seperation but Choi has the dominant position.

Waller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Choi throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Waller manages to break the clinch.
Choi wants to clinch up but Waller keeps it at a distance.
Choi doesn't manage to clinch there - Waller circles away.
No joy there for Choi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Waller closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Waller misses with the combination.
Choi moves to clinch but Waller breaks away
and Choi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Choi moves in looking to clinch but Waller pushes him off.
Choi wants to clinch.
It looked like Waller was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Choi.

A solid body kick from Waller.
Waller darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Choi tries to clinch up but Waller circles away and keeps his distance.
Choi wants to clinch up but Waller keeps it at a distance.
Waller scores with a one two! Choi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Waller lands a glancing blow to the side of Choi's head.
Choi throws a lazy head kick
and Waller counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Choi is rocked!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Waller counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Choi is still on wobbly legs! Can Waller finish him?
Waller is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Waller connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Choi's hands.
Waller cracks Choi with a hook to the temple - Choi is on wobbly legs here! Waller swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Choi falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Waller wins by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nino Waller!
