Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jesse Mills!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Oskar Gudmundsson!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gudmundsson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mills. Mills circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mills throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gudmundsson's waist but Gudmundsson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mills off to one side.
Mills throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gudmundsson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Mills definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mills shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gudmundsson as he jumps to the side.
Gudmundsson's coach down at Honu Arts was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Gudmundsson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mills misses with a few strikes there.
Oskar Gudmundsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mills clinches with his opponent.
Gudmundsson lands with a short head shot on the inside.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Gudmundsson.
Gudmundsson lands a hook that snaps the head of Mills backwards.
Mills is rocked!

Oh Mills is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
