Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil Qwerty (ranked 2839 p4p, 5366 weight class) and Kristian Kent (ranked 307 p4p, 465 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Qwerty!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kristian Kent!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kent tries to clinch up but Qwerty circles away and keeps his distance.
Qwerty looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Qwerty leaves Kent with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kent shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Qwerty as he jumps to the side.
Qwerty throws a hook but Kent blocks it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Kent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Qwerty's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Qwerty throws a nice looking combination but Kent bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
