This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 16 losses; Filmore Everett! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Everett tries to clinch but Garcia moves out of range. Garcia gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Everett has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Everett can't get the takedown.
