The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

St Stone closes the distance and clinches.
St Stone tries to pull guard but Pawn won't allow it.
St Stone tries for a takedown but Pawn manages to get underhooks.
St Stone jumps guard but Pawn stands there with St Stone around his waist. St Stone gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcus St Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
St Stone tries to pull guard but Pawn won't allow it.

St Stone is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pawn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip St Stone to the mat. St Stone regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

St Stone has his foot on Pawn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pawn works his way back into a safe position though.
Pawn looking to sit in guard and control but St Stone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Pawn is trying to keep St Stone in close.
Pawn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with St Stone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pawn can't keep his opponent in guard - St Stone advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

St Stone is working for a kimura but Pawn is defending it quite comfortably.
St Stone uses his free foot to push down on Pawn's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pawn.

St Stone prevents Pawn from getting the reversal.
St Stone will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Pawn wants to control but St Stone is having none of it.

St Stone has isolated one of Pawn's arms. Pawn looking to fight him off but St Stone twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

Marcus St Stone decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
