Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23960 p4p, 23912 weight class) and Kulata Bitok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawindi Buktot is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 36 - 54 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 32 - 58 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bitok drives through with a takedown into Buktot's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Bitok controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Buktot pulls Bitok in close to prevent any damage. Bitok sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot managing to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bitok is trying hard to land a takedown here. Buktot sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Buktot throws a big counter combination but Bitok scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Bitok shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Buktot wants to improve his position but Bitok is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bitok keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Buktot trying to hold on to Bitok's head to control him but Bitok postures up.
Bitok thows a huge punch but Buktot dodges it nicely.
Still in half guard, Bitok seems content to control. Buktot is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bitok controlling the pace.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Buktot shoots in for a double leg but Bitok sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A lazy body kick from Buktot and Bitok counters with a nice kick to the body. Buktot throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Bitok counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Buktot manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kulata Bitok dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Buktot has his takedown stuffed and Bitok counters with a nice double leg into side control. Buktot won't be happy with that. Bitok has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Buktot is looking for a sweep. Bitok staying calm. Bitok is continuing to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot keeping his opponent close. Bitok is staying tight to Buktot's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Buktot is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bitok plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Bitok shoots in looking for a takedown. Buktot tries to sprawl out of it but Bitok keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buktot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Buktot appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bitok shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buktot sprawls well. Buktot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bitok gets slowly back to his feet. It appears Buktot was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Buktot shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bitok but Bitok pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bitok follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Buktot shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bitok manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok pulls Buktot in to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kulata Bitok showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Bitok fails with the takedown and Buktot counters with an outside leg kick.
Bitok looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Buktot controlling the position well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Well, if Bitok is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot is looking for a sweep. Bitok is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Buktot landing a few short strikes. Still in half guard, Bitok seems content to control. Let's hope that Bitok has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Buktot gets caught napping as Bitok dives in and scores a takedown. Buktot manages to retain guard. Bitok trying to control but Buktot is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot being controlled here, momentarily. Bitok being controlled here momentarily. Bitok content to stall in guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dawindi Buktot has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kulata Bitok is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bitok won't allow Buktot to sweep him here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that's the end of the fight! Kulata Bitok comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bitok has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
