This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 24 wins and 17 losses; Roman Kersikov! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 63 wins and 68 losses; Shane MacGowan! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kersikov misses with a takedown attempt - MacGowan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Horrible takedown attempt by MacGowan or perhaps it was just good defense by Kersikov, which made it look bad. MacGowan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kersikov was covering up waiting for the punch and MacGowan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
