Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Chase!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michal Materla!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, John Mangel and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materla fails with a takedown attempt.
Chase misses with a looping right.
Materla closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chase circles away.
Chase lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Materla at a distance.
Chase cracks Materla with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Materla looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Chase finish him?
Chase feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Materla sprawling to the canvas! Materla rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Chase finish him?!
Materla is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Materla tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Chase counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
