Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Renato Zeze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Francisco Pizarro!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeze scores with a nice right hand.
Zeze throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zeze connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Zeze swats away the attempt to clinch by Pizarro.
Zeze is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Pizarro shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Pizarro is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zeze is just riding it out for now. Pizarro eventually gives up the hold.
Pizarro is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zeze defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pizarro seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Zeze wants to control but Pizarro passes into side.
Zeze tries to control but Pizarro manages to take his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pizarro punches the canvas rather than the man.
Pizarro is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Zeze with him. Zeze is trying to defend but Pizarro has an arm under the chin now! Zeze grimaces and is forced to tap out!
