Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Spence (ranked 4160 p4p, 25466 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mariusz Pudzianowski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Danny Spence! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 12 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mariusz Pudzianowski! The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pudzianowski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Spence sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pudzianowski somewhat. Spence throws a big counter combination but Pudzianowski scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Spence drives through and clinches with Pudzianowski against the cage.
Spence manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Pudzianowski has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Spence uses from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spence postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mariusz Pudzianowski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Spence is pushing Pudzianowski up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Spence has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pudzianowski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Pudzianowski is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Pudzianowski covering up well and avoiding damage. Spence has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Pudzianowski's body.
