Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iov Kuzmin (ranked 2515 p4p, 21116 weight class) and Fedor Mazepin (ranked 315 p4p, 606 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kuzmin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to La Caution - Thé à la Menthe. Mazepin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: boom. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Iov Kuzmin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 36 - 51 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fedor Mazepin!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuzmin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mazepin to the mat! Mazepin manages to get full guard.
Mazepin is looking for a triangle but Kuzmin pushes his legs off easily.
Kuzmin keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mazepin's head.
Mazepin looking for a guillotine here but Kuzmin defends easily.

It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut.
Kuzmin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Kuzmin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mazepin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kuzmin has managed to get both his arms back between Mazepin's legs - danger averted.
Mazepin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kuzmin is aware though and is defending well.

That has opened up Fedor Mazepin's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kuzmin scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Kuzmin gets to his feet and stands over Mazepin, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mazepin felt that one! Kuzmin unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mazepin from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iov Kuzmin!
A less than humble Iov Kuzmin misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Fedor Mazepin was interviewed post fight and said 'until next time'.
