Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Rowland (ranked 2029 p4p, 3851 weight class) and Rafael Darren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darren comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Yeah! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Martin Rowland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 11 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rafael Darren! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Darren looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Darren misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rowland tries to counter by clinching up but Darren breaks away and moves out of range. Rafael Darren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Darren lands a lovely overhand right. The fighters circle momentarily. Rowland darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Rafael Darren has been cut. Rowland fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Darren, pushing him back against the cage. Darren tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rowland just stands there and leans against the cage. Rowland lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Darren backwards. Rowland lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Darren. Rowland scores with an uppercut up the middle. Darren tries to work over Rowland's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Rowland softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Nice body punch from Rowland - that landed with a thud.
Rowland digs a right hand into Darren's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Darren's gas tank. Darren looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A short right from Rowland. Rowland lands a body shot. Darren tries to pull guard but Rowland won't allow it.
Rowland gets through Darren's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Rowland scores with a nice hook to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Rowland. Rowland blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short uppercut from Rowland.
Darren is rocked! Rowland lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Rowland lands a left hand.
Rowland scores with an uppercut up the middle. Darren is still on wobbly legs! Can Rowland finish him? Rowland is leaning against Darren and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Rowland. Rowland working some nice short punches in the clinch. A short uppercut from Rowland. A short right hand to the side of the head by Rowland. Rowland breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rowland lands with a big right hook that stumbles Darren - he's out on his feet here! Rowland follows up with another monster hook that separates Darren from consciousness! Darren falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Rowland stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Martin Rowland! During a confident post fight interview, Martin Rowland thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
