Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erick Colonel (ranked 4247 p4p, 4671 weight class) and Brent Huffman (ranked 429 p4p, 451 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brent Huffman!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colonel dives in and grabs Huffman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Huffman pushes down on Colonel's head and hops out.
Huffman misses with a series of wild punches.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Colonel shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Huffman throws a series of punches but Colonel moves out of range.
Huffman blocks the body kick.
Oooooh!!! Huffman has knocked Colonel down with a huge combo! Huffman steps away and waves a wobbly Colonel back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Erick Colonel has been cut.
A slapping body kick lands there for Colonel.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Huffman avoids the head kick by Colonel.
Colonel throws a sloppy head kick and Huffman moves out of range easily.
Colonel has a takedown stuffed.
A countering left hand to the body from Huffman misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erick Colonel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Colonel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Huffman as he jumps to the side.
Colonel is breathing heavily.
Huffman looks to land a combination but Colonel avoids it well.
A left lands for Huffman.
Colonel is rocked!
Colonel is holding his hands too far apart here. Huffman throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Colonel is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
