Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 23221 p4p, 5924 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xxx Xxx has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Xxx Xxx's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 113 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 106 - 26 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A looking to score a takedown here. Fighter B is defending well but Fighter A drives through and ends up in Fighter B's guard. Fighter A throws an elbow that misses. Fighter B uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Fighter A's guard. Nice move by Fighter B! Fighter B stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fighter A swivels though and keeps the full guard. Fighter A being controlled here, momentarily. Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Fighter A is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Fighter A trying to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A is trying to control the position but Fighter B postures up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter B closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fighter B lands in his opponent's guard. Fighter A is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Fighter A looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fighter B puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Fighter B seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B is keeping busy and won't allow it. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fighter B in particular looking to stall.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Fighter B changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fighter A looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B staying calm. You can see the frustration on Fighter A's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fighter A gets caught flat footed, as Fighter B shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Fighter B seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A wants to sweep here but Fighter B controlling him for the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fighter B avoids a kick to the body.
Fighter B throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Fighter A misses the body punch and Fighter B counters with a body kick. Fighter A looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fighter B is fending him off so far but Fighter A persists. Nope, Fighter B circles away and we're back to standing. Fighter B counters with a body kick. Fighter B goes for a double leg but Fighter A avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fighter A continues to drive forward.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter A, before circling back to the center of the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter B closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter A to the mat! Fighter A manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter B seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fighter B throwing strikes but missing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B postures up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fighter B accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fighter B is stalling in the full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Fighter A closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter B circles away. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks. Fighter B closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter A to the mat! Fighter A manages to get full guard. Fighter B engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Fighter A tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B looking to pass the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fighter A closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter B circles away. Fighter B now looks to counter with a shot at the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A closes the distance and clinches up with Fighter B, looking for a takedown. Fighter A pushes Fighter B against the cage but Fighter B circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fighter B changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fighter A looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B postures up. Fighter B taking a breather here. What's Fighter A going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. Fighter B is putting a hurting on Fighter A here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Both fighters take a look at the clock.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fighter B closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Fighter A's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fighter B has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
