The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phillips ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Phillips swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Phillips shoots in looking for a takedown but Anstey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Phillips's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Phillips slips a straight right by Anstey.
Anstey jabs Phillips to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've been hearing reports that Phillips has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
