Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Glover (ranked 2423 p4p, 4419 weight class) and Naoise Durnin (ranked 124 p4p, 186 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Durnin's choice of entrance music: I'm Shipping Up To Boston by The Dropkick Murphy's. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dick Glover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 31 - 0, fighting out of New York, Naoise Durnin!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durnin misses with a combination
and Glover counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Durnin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glover. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Glover working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Durnin's head.
Glover lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glover seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Durnin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Glover might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Glover advances position into side control!
Durnin is pushing Glover's head away, looking to escape. Glover manages to hold on to the position though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Durnin takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Glover working the ground and pound but Durnin is defending the strikes.
The strikes coming from Glover are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Glover tries to move to mount but Durnin blocks the move with his legs.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Durnin can do anything to dispel that myth.
A lull in the action here as Glover stalls from top position.
Glover has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Durnin tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Glover throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Durnin!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Glover lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Durnin.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Durnin is covering up but some of the strikes from Glover are getting through and doing damage.
Glover is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Durnin with him. Durnin is trying to defend but Glover has an arm under the chin now! Durnin grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Dick Glover!
