Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dechen Tsering (ranked 4298 p4p, 4183 weight class) and Elfman Strauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dechen Tsering! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elfman Strauss! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Strauss looking to score a takedown here. Tsering is defending well but Strauss drives through and ends up in Tsering's guard. Strauss looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Tsering is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Strauss stands up from guard. Let's bang! We've been told by Tsering's head coaches at Cozad Amsterdam that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Strauss shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tsering's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tsering can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Strauss controls the pace. Strauss gets to his feet - Tsering follows without any prompting. Strauss scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsering is trying to escape the position but Strauss is controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tsering is looking to regain half guard here but Strauss keeps moving and retains side control. Tsering is trying to work for a sweep but Strauss has mounted him! Tsering is breathing heavily. Strauss pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Tsering can't escape the position.
Strauss controlling from mount. Strauss working for a submission but Tsering is keeping him at bay. Strauss jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tsering manages to avoid the submission attempt. Strauss is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tsering has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsering tries to buck Strauss off but Strauss is having none of it. Strauss decides to stand back up. Tsering gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Tsering looking for a guillotine here but Strauss defends easily.
Strauss is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Strauss must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tsering is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tsering is looking for a triangle but Strauss pushes his legs off easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strauss stands up and waves to Tsering to follow him. A momentary lapse in concentration from Tsering enables Strauss to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tsering manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Strauss decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Tsering, up you get! Elfman Strauss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Strauss lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Strauss gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Strauss lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Tsering or not. Strauss breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Strauss moves into the clinch. Strauss pulls guard. Tsering drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tsering jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Strauss really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tsering. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tsering passes Strauss's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Tsering is trying to work for a kimura but Strauss is defending well.
Tsering is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Strauss doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tsering. Strauss keeping hold of Tsering's head, controlling as best he can. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Elfman Strauss dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Strauss gets a double leg takedown into Tsering's guard. Strauss's corner is telling him to maintain position. Strauss passes into half guard. Strauss wants to pass the guard but Tsering is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strauss stalling. Tsering slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsering working for a triangle but Strauss defends it easily.
Tsering is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Strauss defends well. Strauss gets to his feet. Tsering looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Strauss fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tsering, pushing him back against the cage. Strauss has hold of one of Tsering's legs. Tsering is fighting the takedown attempt but Strauss gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Tsering pushes a forearm under Strauss's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Strauss is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
