Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Danny Hoover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaxson Hogan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoover closes the distance and clinches.
Hoover tries to break free but Hogan pushes him back against the cage.
Hogan fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hoover comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Hogan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hogan swings wildly with an uppercut but Hoover uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hogan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hogan misses with a looping left.

As Hogan looks to move away, Hoover throws a big counter combo but Hogan just gets out of the way.

Hogan moves into the clinch successfully.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hogan.
Hoover has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hogan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hogan tries to work over Hoover's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoover passes the guard and advances to mount!
Hogan is trying to reverse the position but instead Hoover has taken his back - oops!
Hoover trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Hogan doesn't escape.
Hoover seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hogan for as long as he can get away with.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoover has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hogan seems to have recovered his senses.

Hogan is trying to get back to his feet but Hoover has full control of the position and if anything, Hogan has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Hoover has good solid back control here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hoover's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Hogan is trying to stand back up.
Hoover just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Danny Hoover will probably get the nod.
