Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Radd Zayan (ranked 21639 p4p, 2886 weight class) and Johnny Dukes (ranked 576 p4p, 322 weight class). Zayan comes to the cage accompanied by We Drink Ritalin. Dukes is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I saw the Light. Radd Zayan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Dukes's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

I was talking to Zayan's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Zayan managing to block the knees to the body from Dukes.
Dukes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Dukes effectively controlling the action here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zayan kicks off Dukes and gets to his feet.

Dukes feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Zayan sprawling to the canvas! Zayan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dukes finish him?!

As Dukes looks to move away, Zayan throws a big counter combo but Dukes just gets out of the way.
Oh Zayan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dukes closes the distance and clinches.

Zayan is breathing heavily.

Dukes manages to break the clinch.
Zayan takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Dukes throws a head kick but Zayan moves out of range.
Zayan throws a big counter combination but Dukes scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Dukes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dukes misses with a punch on the inside.
Zayan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Dukes turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dukes manages to end up in side control.

Dukes is trying to get an arm triangle but Zayan is defending well.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dukes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zayan manages to avoid it.
It looked like Zayan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Dukes moves into range and clinches up with Zayan.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well Dukes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
